Rotis font examples

Consistent use of the university font, Rotis, encourages easy identification of publications representing the university. NMSU uses a selection of typefaces drawn from the Rotis family. NMSU fonts are shown at left.

How to use the Rotis typeface in print publications

External audiences

Always place headers, sub-headers and titles in Rotis. For body copy, use Rotis or select a typeface from the substitute font options listed below. In all cases, your body copy should be easy-to-read. Contact Marketing Services at mktgserv@nmsu.edu for questions about availability of Rotis.

Internal audiences

Use the Rotis font if it is available. But as many campus computers will not have Rotis installed, publications can be created using one of the substitute font options listed below.

Substitute font options

Garamond, Lucida, Times New Roman, Arial, and Verdana. Please choose from one of these substitute font options for use in body copy and internal publications. If you do not have any of these fonts installed on your machine, contact Marketing Services at mktgserv@nmsu.edu.

Download New Mexico State University headers in Rotis

You can download these headers to place in your publications without the need to install the Rotis typeface.
