University logo
The logo is a crucial component of all NMSU electronic and print communications. The logo stands for NMSU, its mission and distinctive features. Studies indicate that a single logo, used by all units within an organization, is the best strategy for consistent recognition.
The logo, in the shape of the state of New Mexico, emphasizes the university’s comprehensive statewide reach. It should appear prominently on all documents representing the university.
The University has established a logo committee to review logo usage and co-branded materials. If you have questions or your department or unit requires an exception to the guidelines, please send a request to Marketing Services for review by the logo committee.
