InDesign print templates
You must have the Adobe® InDesign program installed to use these templates. With InDesign templates, you can create documents that will be easily used by the Print Portal and commercial printers, although you can just as easily print your publications on your desktop or local office network printer. If there are specific needs for templates not available here, the current templates can be modified, but must follow branding standards.
To prepare documents for the Print Portal and commercial print shops, save in the native InDesign format and use the Preflight and Package functions to copy your files on disc for the printer. This allows editing to be done at the print shop, if necessary.
Tip: Always print a copy of your publication to show the print shop how you want it to look.
How to use these templates
Choose the category of publication you would like to work on, click on the image of your choice within the category and save the document. Reopen the document and begin adding your content.
