Create a publication
- Choose the right kind of publication for your needs.
- Engage the appropriate resources necessary for your project.
- Save time by using templates.
- Keep your publications simple. Use concise text and engaging images.
- Use high resolution images. Note that Web images are not high resolution and are inadequate for documents intended for printing.
- Use correct logo and slogan, headers, fonts and color palette.
Print a publication
- Build time in your production schedule for printing.
- Use the Print Portal to complete large or complex print projects. For small quantities of publications and those intended only for internal audiences, use your local network or office printer.
- Do not use the Print Portal and commercial print shops to print publications from files created in Microsoft Publisher and/or Microsoft Word. These files often require extensive re-working, which can add time and cost to your project.
